  We regularly inspect electrical equipment in your area to help keep your electricity supply safe and reliable. As part of this programme, we will be replacing and upgrading 2 electricity poles. These poles play an important role in helping us deliver a safe and reliable supply to homes and businesses. This work will also reduce the likelihood of unexpected power cuts in the future as we appreciate your area has been impacted with unplanned power cuts in the last 6 months. To carry out this work safely, we need to temporarily switch off your electricity while we work on the electricity poles. To help reduce the time the power is off, our contractors Aureos may carry out some preparation work before the planned power cut so you may see their vans in the area. We will also need access to the inside of your property to carry out safety checks on the morning of the power cut, before the electricity is switched off, and again after the work has been completed. This work is taking place in land off the A137.
